if i complete my btech within five years am i eligible for mtech and i got 50 percent in btech?
Dear aspirant,
As per your query, you are saying that will you be considered for the selection criteria of MTech if you are completing your Btech degree in 5 years & aggregate of 50%.
First things first, colleges will ask you why you couldn't complete 4 yr course in 4 years & why it took you 5 years. Now, even if you have a valid reason to convince them of why it took you 5 years, there could be a chance for your admission. But in most government colleges, NITs, IITs, the minimum criteria for admission in MTech course is minimum 60% and it's reduced to 55% if you are from a reserved category. So your chances of getting admission in Mtech are a bit bleak considering 50% aggregate throughout Btech course. It's gets further down when they will know that it took one 5 years to complete the course. Another option I could suggest is for you to try your PG degree in ME. This is another option you can purse if you can't make it in Mtech.
Thanks for visiting this site, hope it helped.
