Your selection in IIT depends on your hard work and planning whether you had done it this year or not, but it generally does.
Your rank this year is not so bad, just you need to push hard your limits and be confident on what you are solving.If you do this then there will be chance of getting to IIT.

I can say yes only if you do the very hard work in the long time which are planning to write the jee mains again in the next year if your enough confedient then only take this step else don't go for it
