if i fail in jee advance, can i get admission on jee main basis. does colleges seats reamins availble till advanve result.

Dear aspirant,

JEE main and advanced are completely different exam and the main result won't be affected if you are not able to clear the advance however you are eligible to give advance only if you have cleared mean. The colleges take admission main will give you admission no matter how you perform in advanced. Advanced exam is for the admission in IIT and Indian Institute of science Bangalore and handful of other colleges. In main you can get admission into various NIT IIIT and government funded technical institutes and also State Government colleges. This admission is only on the basis of your main rank and has nothing to do with the advanced.

Your JoSAA counselling happens only after your mains and they are done for both mains and advanced,so no need to worry

The counselling will begin around in JUNE ,so if you are eligible for any one examination then you can participate here.
