Hi there,
If you fail in one of the two subjects of improvement exams, than the report card you will get after results will show F in that subject and also the marks of other subject will be mentioned. There is no provision of getting mas separately for both subjects .You will get only one marks cards from cbse after completion of your exams...
Hope this helps,do upvote the answer if it helped you..
Best of luck for your Future Endeavours!!!

So at the time of college admissions when I show my marksheet can I tell them to just consider the marks that I improved in and ignore the subject I failed in?
Then you should again have to give the exam for the subject in which you get failed.. howeer no need to give exam of other subject which you have cleared in your improvement exam..
Good luck..
Good luck..

Hey Akshat,
There is no need to worry if you fail in your improvement exams because it was just for your improvement of your scores. The improvement can be only given once and that to in one year after your main exams. If you score well in your improvement then your scores will be replaced.
All the best buddy :)

You can attempt for cbse improvement exam only once and that too only in the successive year. Improvement exams can be taken only after passing all the subjects. So even if you fail in improvement exams, you need not worry because you still have passed the exam and the best of the two marks will be chos
Thank you ;)
Thank you ;)

Hello
It doesn't affect strictly speaking it depends upon the board you write.

Thank you alot.just to be clear, I gave improvment exam this year for 2 subjects Physics and maths. So if I fail in physics and score better than before in maths then I can officialy substitue just my maths marks and forget about the new physics marks right?
Understand meaning of improvement.
Only if you improve upon your previous marks, then it would be considered.
If you have failed in improvement exam, your previous marks are only considered.
So no tension.

Respected sir,
You need not worry. An improvement exam is just for the sake of getting better grades. If you fail in one, your previous mark would be counted. And the marks of your second improvement subject would be counted . So the new marks of the other subject would be granted to you. Therefore relax and all the best for the life ahead
Hope I was able to help you.
Thank you.
