Hello student to get admission in NIT's you need to secure 75 percent in class 12 or in top 20 percentile of your board eligibility criteria says - Candidates must passed or appearing class 12 with physics chemistry physics chemistry and mathematics with minimum 75 percent marks aggregate from a recognized board.

No, To get admission in IITs/NITs/IIITs a candidate must have passed 10+2 with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry from a recognized board with 75% aggregate if he/she belongs to general category and 65% aggregate if he/she belongs to SC/ST category. You are not eligible to get admission in NITs even if you qualify in JEE Main without scoring the minimum percentage.
