If i get a rank between 5001 and 10000 in jee mains ,then can i get into a good NIT

Looking at the previous year's trend, to get admission in good NIT you need to get rank within 4000. Definitely good chances for General category specifically for NJTs like Kurukshetra, Warangal, Rourkela, Bhopal and Surat.

However you will definitely get Civilengineering /Mechanical engineering /Electricalengineering in any of above NITs in General category irrespective of quota if rank within 5000 to 8000 range.
