If i get absent in gate 2019 in spite of having hall ticket would it be consider as my 1st attempt or not ?

Dear Parinita, an attempt is considered used only when you attend the exam. Inspite of you having the hall ticket, if you haven't appeared for the exam, it will be considered absent and not an attempt. Because you were not present for the exam and your attendance will not be recorded. So your attempt remains unused.
