if I get biotech. branch in iit . after taking admission in iit can I change my branch in mechanical by getting good marks

Yes, you can change your branch if you pass in all the subjects in 1st year and you have scored good marks. Procedure to change the branch is different in all the colleges. So, you should also confirm to officials once.

Yes offcourse... You get one chance to change your branch which is after 1st year according to your cgpa.

It is very difficult to change branch in iit . you have to score exceptionally very well
