IF I GET FAIL IN MATHS IN CBSE BOARD CLASS 10. WILL IT BE REPLACED BY MY ADDITIONAL SUBJECT FIT
Hi,
The rule from the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) states that a student will be provided the opportunity to take a "Skill Subject" as their sixth supplementary subject if they fail any of the three elective subjects (Science, Mathematics, and Social Science).
When opting a course for 11th most of the courses asks if the student has passed the Math as one of the subject. So, it is suggested to study well for passing even in math.
Hello Aspirant.
Firstly I want to suggest you that stop thinking that you'll fail in your maths examination. It would be bad for you if you keep thinking about the result as now you have given the examination so its better for you to focus on your upcoming exams and you better study hard so you pass with flying colors.
Now back to your question, there are two scenarios at this moment.
1- If you have passed in maths in all the internal examination and the fail in the boards, then you'll get a compartment.
2- If you have been failed in the internal exams and still fail in the boards, then you'll be declared fail.
3- Now, if you are thinking that any additional language may save you. Mind you that from this year the marks of additional language could be used for substituting the marks of any other language and not for maths. Therefore I would advise you to focus on your upcoming exams.
All the best for your future.
