Hello aspirant
Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) is a public central university located in Delhi. It was established in the year 1920 and received the status of Central University in 1988. Currently, it offers various UG, PG, Diploma, PG Diploma, Advanced Diploma and M.Phil & Ph.D. courses in different disciplines under different departments.
A valid rank in JEE Main is the primary pre-requisite to secure admission in B.Tech and B.Arch courses.
The cut off score (average based on previous years cut of lists) for the first list of selected candidates –
General Category –
Civil – 206
Computer – 241
Electrical 212
Mech – 210
The first waiting list for candidates include the cutoff around 170. The second list comes down to 156.
The scores above 140 have a more likely chance to be included in the waiting lists.
A score above 120 is a decent score but the admission through this score is based on the results of that year. If more students are filled through the first and second waiting lists, then the chance of admission is less as compared to other scenarios
There is no entrance test in Jamia Millia Islamia; entrance tests were stopped recently. The scores of JEE Mains are considered for admission.
I hope that I have answered your question.
Best of Luck!
