Hii aspirant,
Coming to your question I would like to tell you that it depends on the situation.
- If you have been alloted a nit / gfti in first 6 rounds and you have accepted the seats then you have to go for the reporting if you are allocated an IIT in the 7 round you will not be considered for the jee advanced next year
- If you have not been given any seat not paid 35,000 or visited rc then there is no need to go to the RC if you don't want the seat allocated to you .
