Comprehensive Guide: IIT's | NIT's | IIIT's | Foreign Universities in India
Hi
It is difficult to get good government college and NITs with this percentile but you can apply for good private universities or institutes who are taking their own entrance exam and having their own admission criteria like:
SHIVNADAR UNIVERSITY
NORTHCAP UNIVERSITY
MANIPAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY
BANNETT UNIVERSITY
IILM UNIVERSITY,GURUGRAM
LOVELY PROFESSIONAL UNIVERSITY
BML MUNJAL UNIVERSITY
AMITY UNIVERSITY
SRM UNIVERSITY etc
You can also try for state level counselling for engineering admission.
IILM UNIVERSITY,GURUGRAM is offering B.tech in computer Science and Information Technology with contemporary computing areas like:
Cloud Computing
Artificial Intelligence (AI)
Big data
Internet of Things (IoT)
Machine Learning
Deep Learning
Image processing
Block Chain
dear candidate if you are belonging to general category there may be less chances for you to get a seat.
but incase if you are not a EBC then you gave good chances to get a seat in nit but you cannot make it into top most NITs
Dear candidate
As you did not mention your category in your query and getting seat at NIT depends on your rank which depends on your category so, considering general category in general it is impossible to get seat in NIT with just 80 marks in JEE MAINS as you barely qualified and if you want to know eligible for any other category mention it so that I can provide you with the required information.
Hope this Information is helpful
With 80 marks, your rank will be roughly close to around 1,74,900 and percentile will be approximately 90-91%. Check out the site below for some details regarding the same...

But with this marks, you cannot get into NIT for sjure because NIT admission ends around 96 percentile and above roughly around 33-36 thousand ranks.
So you need to score approximately 170 and above to be on the safer side.
Refer to the link below to know the exact cutoffs for each branches into various NITs -

Best wishes. Thank you.
The admission into NIT's is completely based on cut off for qualifying . With a score of 80, I am not sure that you will get admitted into a NIT
I hope you find this answer useful.
All the best.!
