if I got 80 marks in jee main exam then can I join nit college

It is difficult  to get good government college and NITs with this percentile but you can apply for good private universities or institutes who are taking their own entrance exam and having their own admission criteria like:

dear candidate if you are belonging to general category there may be less chances for you to get a seat.

but incase if you are not a EBC then you gave good chances to get a seat in nit but you cannot make it into top  most NITs

But with this marks, you cannot get into NIT for sjure because NIT admission ends around 96 percentile and above roughly around 33-36 thousand ranks.
