Hi,
Inorder to give JEE Main, a candidate must have Physics, Chemistry and Maths examinations enlisted in their boards exam as well. Even if physics is your additional subject, you must opt in for its board examinations, which will make you eligible for JEE Main.

Just wanted to know that having Physics as one of my subject is enough..or it has to be a MAIN SUBJECT..though I will be giving all 6 subject exams in my board examination.

YES, you will be able to give JEE Mains as long as you have physics marks in your 12th Marksheet. Because candidates in Medical Stream with maths as additional subject are allowed to give JEE then certainly you will be able to.
