Dear Vaishnavi, you haven't mentioned the college you want to apply for. But most colleges have 50% as the minimum aggregate in Graduation as the basic eligibility criteria. While few colleges have Entrance examinations, few colleges conduct admissions based on Merit scored in the highest qualification. So if you are aplying for colleges that have Entrance examinations, you have a fair chance if you can score good in the exam. On the other hand if you select colleges which conduct admissions based on merit, candidates who have better aggregate will be given prefernce first.
