if i have taken admission into a btech program in a university and if i have ask for refund on or before 30/12 as per ugc guidelines will i get the whole fees as refund ? if yes is there any particular date at which i have to apply for refund.

You can get 100% refund but it depends on the point of time when notice of withdrawal of admission is served by you to HEI.

Refunding process is categorised in 4 ways :-

1) 100 % refund if the candidate applies for it 15 days before the formally-notified last date of admission.

2) 80% refund if the candidate applies n ot more than 15 days after the formally-notified last date of admission.

3) 50% refund if the candidate applies more than 15 days but less than 30 days after formally-notified last date of admission.

4) 0% refund more than 30 days after formally- notified last date of admission.

Generally Universities do not provide a hundred percentage refund. They cut some amount out of it like they'll provide 80% refund or 85% depending on college. The college must have a date after which there is not refundable amount available so check that out on the official site or contact the college.
