Yes one can never apply for jee advance without knowing the jee mains result as if you fail to paas jee mains so you are not even eligible to sit for the examination so after the results josaa will provide you link to apply for jee advance .

Hello Ajiith,hope you are doing well.Inorder to appear for advance itself you must qualify jee mains,then you can appear for advaced.So therefore after mains results only you are able to apply for advanced.
