if i passed my class 10 in 2017 and for claas 12 in 2020 due to illness can i give jee advance in 2021the 1year gap does not matter anything

There isn't any such disclaimer regarding a year gap in education.But you must have passed 10+2 in the year 2019 or 2020 for JEE advanced 2021.So you will be eligible to appear for JEE advanced even if you have one year gap in between 10th and 11th class.You must appear in 10+2 for the first time in 2020 or 2021 and pass the examination.You must also qualify JEE main and fulfill other eligibility criteria.
