Hi piyush,
MBA or Master of Business Administration is two year post graduation proffesional degree. The core courses in an MBA program cover various areas of Business such as accounting, business law, finance, management, enterprenuership, etc.
It depends on college to college some count your CAT score only. So, in that case admission is given on your CAT marks only. In Some college more weightage is given to 10th and 12th marks. And even graduation marks for that matter. Some colleges also have minimum eligiblity criteria like 50% minumum you should have score. So, it totally depends on college to college.
Now when it comes to company. Good companies obviously prefer good marks. But in case of finance only. In marketing and HR they do not go through the past records. Again i will say that it totally varies company to company.
Hope it helps:)

Yes you will be able to get good colleges for MBA if you score 95 percentile in CAT . But CAT eligibility is that 50 % marks is required if you want to appear for Cat exam for open category, for SC and ST category it is 45% .
