There are total 200 questions and total marks is 200 in MAT. A candidate scores one mark for each correct answer and there is negative marking scheme of ¼ marks i.e. 0.25 marks. The maximum marks, which a candidate can score is 200 and the scaled score is given out of 800. Thus, if you correct 70 questions, you can expect 70 marks and a scaled score of 350.
