If I want to get admission in iit or nit what should be the rank iam required to score jee
Hello aspirant!!! For admission in NITs your rank should be below 30k( general category) but to get a good NIT your rank should be below 20k. For admission to IITs your rank should be below 10k(general category) but to get a good IIT or a good branch you should target below 7k. Dear aspirant,
By now you must know that getting into an IIT is much more harder than getting into NIT and cleari g jee is just one stepping stone to iit.
Firstly this year jee cutoff was 89.7% in the general category keeping that in mind ypu must score above 90% to enter Advance jee where again you must rank in the top 10000 in crl rank that way you can be guranteed a seat in IIT.

If you are able to retain 30k rank or above there is a great cha ce you will get NIT. See I've said it before and I'll say it again don't take any NIT just cause it's an NIT. But then again it's your decision. Qualifying JEE entitles you to NIT/GFIT/IIITs.
NITs have the least seat out of these 3 and require the highest rank.
Followed by IIIts And GFIT.
