If I want to take PCMC then English will be compulsory but is there any option for the students to Study either Shakespeare or modern English? Other schools have implemented this policy of either taking Shakespeare or modern English but will this school start it for the upcoming batch XI, 2026-27?

Hello,
Yes, English will be a compulsory subject if you take PCMC.
However, there is no official update about introducing an option to choose between Shakespeare-based English and Modern English for the upcoming batch XI (2026–27).
At present, most of the school follows the regular English syllabus prescribed by the board. You can contact the school administration for confirmation if they plan to implement this policy in the future.
