You can write your JEE main exam if you are a dropper but you have to a minimum aggregate of 75% in class 12 or any equivalent board exam if you belong to general category and 65% if you belong to SC/ST category.You can very well write the exam if you have dropped a year but you must pass your class 12 exam.
