if in spot round there is sear of open category for male then can female also apply for it

The category 'female (supernumerary)' was built with a motive to provide an extra opportunity to candidates of female gender. Note that females can also take admission through the open category on fulfilment of these conditions:

1. The female quota has been filled up or there is no such quota

2. That the candidate satisfies the eligibility criteria as required for the application

Note that unless and until it is mentioned that the post is for males only, you can apply for the open category seat on satisfying the above-mentioned points
