If someone score less in JEE MAINS , will engineering life be tough for him?
In Contrast to others, I think it matters. First of all, a question is asked before JEE Main it means we cannot consider the possibility of bad luck on the day of Exam.
What is learned in class 12 becomes basic in almost every branch of Engineering, If you can not do well in at this level then How one can think that he will do well at pro versions of Problems. You can think of some exception but look they are very rare.
Now it doesn't mean that you can not be a good Engineer, at the end of day Your hard work counts. If you are passionate about your department then chances are there that you do much better than what you did at + level.
Well, the answer to this question is a big NO.
When, you actually get into engineering, you realise that it has nothing to do with your class 12th syllabus. (Although the topics in your 1st year are just an elevated version of your class 12th syllabus.)
Scoring less in JEE Mains might be due to a lot of factors.A bad day in your examination, different pattern,a tough paper by your levels of preparation are just a few examples.
Never mislead yourself into believing that if you score less in Mains, you cannot be a good engineer.
Choose the branch of your interest and follow your passion. You will do wonders.
Hope this helps.
