Dear Jatindra, NIOS is a National Programme recognised by the Govt. of India. This is an initiative for those students who missed the chance of regular schooling. And NIOS is recognised by all the National Entrance Examinations as an eligibility. Even other Entrance Ecaminations, Institutions and Organisations also accept NIOS students for their Accademic programmes. So even if you are studying from NIOS, the certificate is as equal as a regular school.
