If ten more persons getting same mark in same category, what is the procedures will take in medical counselling.
Hey Nashrath,
The marks differ when your boards are taken into consideration. In that, it usually gives clearer ranks. If it is still the same, your marks in 10th boards may be taken and added. Usually it is not that difficult, you all will be offered seats in different colleges and branches and there's hardly a clash after all these methods and offers.
If two or more candidates obtain the same score in NEET UG, then preference, while preparing the rank list, is given in the following order:
- Candidate with highest marks in Biology is given first preference.
- If the marks in Biology turn out to be same, then candidate with highest marks in Chemistry is given preference.
- If the marks in Chemistry turn out to be same, then candidate with highest marks in Physics is given preference.
- If all the above three turn out to be equal, then candidate who is older in age is given preference.
