If we join ECE in First year in an NIT, can we get into CSE branch in second year in Btech?

Hi student,
Yes, you may take admission in ECE branch in First year at NIT and them get into CSE branch in second year of your B.Tech but their are certain conditions that should be there:-
- There should be a vacant seat for you in CSE, if not, then, if somebody leaves CSE and joins any other branch the seat will become empty.
- You should have a reputable marks in First and Second Semesters to beat all the students are wishing to change their branch to CSE in second year.
- You should apply for Branch Change.
- You should not have a back in any subject in these two semesters otherwise you will not be eligible to apply.
