Fees in IIT can be broadly classified into 2 sections one is there tuition fee which consists of manother part and other is hostel rent mess advance and others Gymkhana fees which is almost 20% of the tuition fees ,tuition fee per semester is 100000 but for SC students they are waived off and they only pay the other fees which range between 15000 to 20000 of different IITs.

SC Candidates are exempted from payment of Tuition fees irrespective of their parental income in IITs and NITs.
