The basic eligibility criteria for getting admission in these colleges are:

• A candidate must have passed class 12th examination or must be appearing in the finals of the class 12th examination with physics, chemistry and mathematics as compulsory subjects.

Yes of course you can opt for Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Environmental Engineering if you feel you have interest in that field. The basic eligibility criteria is that you must pass your 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board with Maths, Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects. If you have completed your class 12 then you are eligible for doing Btech. And to get enviromental engineering in any college you need to clear its cutoff for entrance exam. Majority of college will allow you for Btech on your age. So you can do Btrech in environmental engineering
