im from 11th std if I got only 40 percent in maths in 11th tn board will I be given preference in medical colleges

Hello,

The elgibility criteria to appear in NEET is that a candidate must have passed 10+2 with Biology/Biotechnology, Physics, Chemistry and English from a recognized board or university.Candidates belonging to general category must have passed with 50%, for SC/ST/OBC it is 40% and for PWD candidates it is 45%.

Mathematics marks are not considered.The admission is based on merit in NEET UG.
