I'm having 6 backlogs in my btech.I've dropped my college in 3-2 (present) I'm confused whether to continue or start a new degree.
Hello Sravanti ,
If you think that you can do better in some other field then you can give up Engineering. There is no point to pursue engineering if you failed to perform well.
But If you have interest in Engineering , then believe in your self . Don't lose hope.
Put more effort in your academics.
It never too late. You have 2 years to clear your backlog. prepare backlog subject simultaneously with your current semester sllybus. Running Away from Challenges is not a solution.

All the Best.
Hello Srivanti!
Go and follow your passion, thats exactly what anybody would advice you.
If you love engineering, then continue with the same degree. For effectively clearing the backlogs, you can refer previous years question papers of your university and even consult your professors to guide you with it.
Hope that helps.
Cheers.
