The national-level law entrance examination, CLAT is held to offer admissions into the undergraduate law programmes including B.A LL.B, B.B.A LL.B, B.Com LL.B and B.Sc LL.B. For 3 year LLB you have to go for other options. Faculty of Law, DU; FoL, BHU; FoL, Allahabad University; ILS, Pune; GLC Mumbai are good options for 3 year LLB but they aren't in South India. Dr. Ambedkar Government Law College - Chennai , Government Law College - Madurai, Government Law College - Coimbatore , Government Law College - Tirunalveli Etc are good options. I hope it helps!

Besides the list of some good law colleges in South already given in earlier answers, in case you do not want to appear for CLAT UG, there are some colleges which take admission through their own entrances or other entrance exams. You must appear in the Entrance exam to get admission in the best Law College. Most of the well recognised Colleges take admissions in the Law after the Entrance Exam and there score. So to take admission in the Law College you must appear in the Exam
