The path to become a medical proffeser is here-
(10+2) to NEET UG to MBBS with internship (5 years) to PG entrance to PG ( 3 years ) to 3 years superspecialisation course to MCH/ DM ( 2-3 years ) and residency for 3 years to assistant professor to associate professor to professor.
Basically you need a MBBS degree to be a proffeser.
The promotion from assistant proffeser to professor depends upon the number of research papers written, performance report by seniors, seniority, vacant posts, conferences attended, workplace politics ( to be genuine ), rules of the state and connections with relevant people.
Hope this helps.
Good luck!
Hello dear student !
Yes you can become a lecturer in the medical college after neet . What all you need to do is to have a post graduate degree. After MBBS, the post graduate courses are divided into CLINICAL and NON CLINICAL courses. Clinical includes gynecology , cardiology, etc whereas non clonival includes biochemistry physiology etc. By selecting non clinical courses you can teach the students of that particular subject. So by attaining a post graduate degree in a particular subject you can become the lecturer of that subject in the medical college. You can practice teaching in that college as assistant professor in starting.
All the best!
