I'm pursuing chemical engineering I'm in 7tth semester i always wanted to be agriculturist is there any way that i get in to agriculture ?
Hello Aspirant
Chemical Engineering is a very respected degree and is tough to complete.
There are many different ways to get into the field of agriculture.
If you want to be an agriculturalist, then you need not pursue any degree. You can either buy a peice of agriculutral land or get land on rent or you can work with someone who already has a peice of land. This is the practical way of being on field and understanding how agricultural works.
If you want to pursue a degree, then you would again have to pursue an undergraduate degree for either three or four years.
Another option is to pursue a diploma in agriculture. You can understand the theoretical part through the diploma and side ways opt for practical exposure through field works.
The way you have to choose is to be chosen while keeping in mind certain factors such as amount of time and money you are willing to spend.
Best of luck!
