see you can certainly restart your academic course , age is not a matter, I suggest you to go for nios, national institute of open schooling branch located nearest from your location, nios board  is  autonomous under  mhrd and its certificates is accepted in all government and private organizations for higher study or job purpose. NIOS Board is accepted by AICTE/UGC recognised colleges.

you may join open basic education course in nios which is equivalent with 8th standard course,
