The Central Board of School Education (CBSE) administers the JEE Main. The CBSE announces the JEE Main cut off as soon as the JEE Main results are released.
The examination authorities consider the following factors while determining the cut off marks for JEE Mains:
- Number of applications received,
- Number of questions asked in the paper,
- Difficulty level of the exam,
- Performance of the candidates, and
- Previous years’ cut off trends
