in cbse reevaluation in english suppose i made a claim of 2 marks increment,then will they change my marks only if the increment is of 2 marks or even 1 mark increment will also be affected
Revaluation is the last step of rechecking process in CBSE. If you are convinced that you have been marked incorrectly for any specific question, you can then apply for revaluation. Moreover, you can apply for revaluation only for the subjects for which you have requested a photocopy of. Keep in mind that the revaluation process would only be for specific questions and not for the entire paper. So if the question will be revalued and tallied according to marking scheme and they will award whatever marks your answer is fit for.

Well I'm general cbse only increase marks when there is a difference of more than 5 marks, if it is less than that then increment depends on luck.
Now comming to your point if you have claimed 2 marks and only one marks increase then it will be done in case if they do it.

Generally more than 5 marks increase after reevaluation and a minimum increase of 5 marks is necessary then only they will increase your marks. There should be atleast 5 marks change for it to be chnaged in official report card. Sometimes (rarely) the marks can decerease too so send for reevaluation only if you are sure you were not awarded the deserving marks.
