Hope you doing great, According to wbjee the eligibility criteria is the person must have passed class 12 with minimum of 45% of marks However , 45% minimum marks criteria in class 12 is only applicable for general category. For other categories such as sc/st/pwd/obc , the minimum qualifying marks is 40%

The eligibility criteria for appearing in WBJEE for general category candidates is minimum 45% aggregate marks in 10+2.
- Subject combination : Physics and Mathematics along with any one of Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Computer Science /Computer Application as compulsory subjects. Candidate also needs to pass each subject individually
However, some institutions like Jadhavpur University demand 60% aggregate marks in PCM.
So, you meet the eligibility criteria. Now only thing you need to do is get a good rank in WBJEE.

To be eligible for WBJEE, you need 45%. Fo govt. colleges like University of Calcutta or Jadavpur University, you need a score of 60% in your 10+2. Going by the eligibility criteria, you can get a government college. Please check the WBJEE Eligibility 2019 for more details.
