In counselling process if the obc certificate is not taken by the institution then what happens whether I take part in counselling or not

Hello Shibaji,
If you apply as an obc candidate but fail to produce the OBC certificate to prove it at the time of counselling, you will no longer be considered for admission under OBC category. However, your candidature will not be cancelled as now you will be placed under general category.

If I do the obc certificate and it is not under central obc qouta then what happened?
See if you have put yourself as OBC but it doesnt come under the central list, worst case scenerio, you will fall into the general category and wont get that reservation or that seat that you might have got otherwise. You wont be penalised for this. Many students do commit this mistake so the authorities dont punish anyone for this. The reservation is not given that's all that happens.
