Yeah the eligibility criteria inorder to get in the elite institutes like IIT and NIT'S says that you need to have a score of atleast 75% in class 12th it doesn't matter whether you have given the improvement exam or not and they also doesn't bother in how many subjects you have given the improvement exam. So better try to score more than 75% in class 12th.
