If you want to take admission into local colleges through jEE Mains, then that process is called B-category. You can apply to private colleges in your state through your JEE Mains score.But for that you need to wait till the respective colleges release B-category notification. You need to frequently keep checking the college official website reguarly or else you might miss the chance because some colleges don't release the notification through newspaper. Hi Akashreddy, every private college gives some extra seat irrespective of your reservation status based on the jee main score, these seats are said to be B category seats.
- Student opting these seats must withdraw their convenor quota seats.
- Students need to apply separately for their desired colleges with the nominal fee of 2 to 3k.
- The college fee under the quota is same as the seat acquired under convenor quota.
