in general categary .i scored 78% then is there any chance to get any nit
The jee mains 2020 results are out. And this year the qualifying cutoff percentile score set by nta is
around 90 percentile for general category students.
Now as your percentile score is 78, then you can not get any nits or iiits as you have not cleared
the cutoff.
You should try for some other state colleges or some other private colleges or institutions like kalinga institute of industrial technology or cv raman global university.
You can try your luck in bit sindri but the chances are still very poor with this much percentile score.

This is because,
With 78 percentile in JEE mains you have failed to qualify JEE mains as you belong to general category and qualifying cut off percentile for general category is 90.3765335 percentile
As you have not qualified JEE main, you are not eligible for josaa counselling and thus cannot get into NIT
