You have not mentioned your category , generally the cutoffs of sc/st and obc students are less than general ones. But the focus should be on completing the whole syllabus and try to solve as much as previous year question papers .
If you score above 150 Mark's then you have a chance that you might get a NIT but there are more chances that you might not get the stream of your choice .
So try to score above 200 Mark's to get a stream of your choice and a good NIT college .
