Jadavpur University, prepares its own merit list and a cut off score based on the formula: Best 3 (excluding maths) + Maths score * 2

You have mentioned your marks in mathematics as 53. Rest you can calculate your overall score out of 500 taking other best of 3 subject marks into consideration.

The merit list is also based on your 12th school board. If you are from ICSE or CBSE board, the cut off trend generally shows around 472/500 and if you are from West Bengal board, cut off for you might be 450/500.
