Although the marks of this section is not considered, but it is advisable that you prepare for GK section as it will not only help you in other exams but for your GD/WAT and PI rounds as well. You need not dedicate major amount of your preparation schedule for studying GK but at least make sure that you are aware of the basic current affairs and static GK.
