In mht-cet, CAP round if a college have 100 seats and 40 of seats are filled by round and 20% management quota . What they do of remaining ?
Hello Ajinkya,
All colleges have two types of seats,
1. Those which are filled by conducting CAP rounds
2. College level seats (Management quota)
In the first type again there is further bifurcation according to reservations, All India etc.
These are the only two types of seats and no other seats are existing. Even after this, if some seats are vacant then the college tries to fill them, as they would not like to lose the profit by keeping those seat vacant.
I hope your doubt is cleared.
Hello
All of the seats are filled by the college, the college tries to fill in all the seats since if the college dosent fill in allthe seats then it is having loss. There is also an AICTE norm that an engineering college has to fullfill some percentage of seats.
The seats would be fully filled by the time all the rounds of counselling are over.
