In mht cet exam what is the criteria for low vision person
Dear Bagadi, for being considered under physically disabled category, the extent of any disability should be more than 40% or permanent. The Proforma F/F-1 has to be produced as a proof of the same. Candidates with visual disability will be considered under type P1. Candidates with audio and dumb disability will be considered under P2. Candidates with orthopaedic disorders, learning disabilities, Dyslexia, Dyscalculia, Dysgraphica, Spastic come under P3. Now the disability scale is the same for everything. Anyone who meets any one of the following criteria is eligible to receive a Visual impairment certificate.
Total blindness
Visual acuity which is less than 3/60 in the better eye, even with the assistance of eye glasses
Field of vision which is less than 20 degrees in the better eye even with the assistance of eye glasses.
This applies even for MHTCET.
