in my caste certificate I belong to OC. And in my eapcet application it came as BC_D.is oc and bc_d are same???. is there any problem in certificate verification??. plz anyone explain me

Hello Aspirant,
OC means open category. It is the equivalent of the general or unreserved category.
BC category means backward classes every. It is divided into 5 categories such as BC-A, BC-B, BC-C, BC-D, and BC-E. It comes under the OBC category.
There is a reservation of 7%,10%,1%, 7%, and 4% respectively for the above-mentioned classes.
Hence, there is an aggregate of 29% reservation in the academic establishment and state jobs.
OC and BC are different.
There must be some case of negligence in this case. You must notify the concerned administration about it.
