EWS category - Economically weaker section is a subcategory of general/open category , also known as GEN - EWS category (general - EWS ). And to apply for EWS category in NEET, you need to select General category and later you need to submit EWS certificate issued by the competent authority. If you fail to submit the category certificate, you will be refrained to avail any befits for reserved category and will be treated as a general/open category candidate.
