In only bcom honours 2.5% is deducted for not taking one Main subject. In simple bcom also 2.5% is deducted?

Hey,
if you do not take one language subject and three core subjects for bcom honours or bcom programme in any of the college of Delhi University around 2.5% is deducted from your best of four percentage. This is a guideline of the university and all the colleges that come under this university have to follow it.
